Nobody’s Coming to Save You. But That’s the Good News.
You think you need a mentor, a loan, or a lucky break? You don’t. You need to move.
A couple years ago, I was in the job market looking to become a Home Health Aide.
I searched far and wide and finally found a place that offered training, job placement, and immediate hiring.
Sounds like the full wash and set, right?
Wrong.
They strung me along for four months straight, telling me training would start "in the next two weeks." It never started.
During that time, I had nothing.
No career. No income. Just grit.
So I did what I had to do:
I resold sneakers
I ran Uber Eats
I flipped anything I could
I made it day by day
They may have wasted my time, but they didn't shake me..
Even though I was broke, I stayed moving.
Here’s what I learned:
No matter what happens to you in life, if you keep moving, you can’t lose.
You lose $10,000 today? Be sad today but wake up tomorrow asking yourself how to make $20K. That mindset alone keeps you dangerous.
Being successful isn’t about what you have. It’s about what you do with what you’ve got.
It’s about how well you can play the hand you were dealt, not the one you wish you had.
So today, I want you to do this:
Write down 5 things you can do TODAY to improve your life.
Nothing wild. Just five real, achievable moves.
Next post, I’m breaking down debt and how to stop fearing it, and how to use it as a weapon instead of a weight.
Stay moving. Stay dangerous.
